I'm sort of not really sure if I find this really all that good of them, seeing as most of those deviations have been online for months, in some cases even more than a year and all of a sudden, they start removing them, not telling me exactly WHAT I did wrong, not warning me of anything, but simply removing them from the site.
Telling people that they're doing something wrong is one thing, but removing things without the maker having even the slightest idea what's going on, that's just taking it one step too far in my opinion...
When I sent a message to the helpdesk, they said something about not being allowed to use promo's, screencaps or any official work... then my question is: what am I allowed to use? I can make my own screenies, that way I'm not taking them away from anyone, but then again, no one would know it's really mine, so practically, the only option is to not make wallpapers, banners and avatars anymore... which is really stupid... I don't really understand the rules it seems, but I do know that this sucks big time and if I find out that any more of my work gets deleted, I might just stop visiting DeviantArt in the whole, seeing as my work isn't allowed here anyway.
So, if even my journal entries get screened: this is how I think of you, DeviantArt: Get your rules cleared out and make people understand why you delete their deviations because the auto-message you sent to everyone just doesn't do the trick.
There, that's that, feeling some better now.
